Pictures to reflect life. It's sweetness. Gratitude to God in all this.

If you haven't heard the news yet, we've got a baby boy coming!  Here are some of my favorite finds (but really, there are so many goodies) from consignment and thrift stores.  99cents for the Superbaby onsie, $2.99 for the hungry, hungry caterpiller onsie, and $5 for the sneakers.  Love!  Who says you can't dress up a baby boy??!

Spent the morning cleaning house, and the afternoon checking out baby gear at five local thrift and consignment stores.  Totally worth it, People.  Some great clothes for 99 cents (even whole outfit sets), $1.49, $2.99 for babies.  Expensive maternity pants for $6.99  Tons of reduced price baby gear too.  Proceeds to the thrift stores all go to operations and charity.  I will have to go back.

This sign was in one of the stores....  Despite the many crying kiddos and upset parents, it was a great store.

The bounty!  which will be shared with some of the other expectant moms & dads in my church family.

Fast forward 3 years...

I've so neglected this lovely little photo blog. Let's catch up.
I love the last little photo of our sweet Silas. We lost him to cancer last September.
Our little crew now would have driven him crazy especially Joy (who's of course, up front; Kodiak middle, Pilot rear).

Robbie and I will celebrate our 2nd anniversary in a couple of weeks.

Also we are officially announcing to all about expecting a baby in September/October time frame.

A couple of everyday photos here. One of Silas cooling off in bath water.

Charles and Nemo looking at each other.

We went to Houston one weekend.

All the sisters went to Seattle to visit our new nephew and have a fam vacation. The aunties were very smitten with him.

And the parents got a chance to rest a bit.

When we weren't hovering about him, we saw sights and

ate too much for our own good.

And my best friend got a big surprise... engagement.

In April, I had the chance of flying to Seattle and see my baby nephew born

to my sister Phung and brother-in-law David for whom he was named along with both of his grandfathers: David James Hoa Martin.

I learned more than I have ever ever know about birthing and babies!

What a cute little guy... although he was a big guy to start off-- 9 lbs, 13.7 oz, 21 inches long.

I had a little time too to spend with Christy and Andrew,

who were of great help when I lost my sister and b-in-law's dogs, Chloe and Zoe, for part of a day.

I'm going back with all my sisters to see them in a couple of weeks but in the meantime Dave sent us today's photo of wife and son napping.

I confess that March has been a pretty difficult month, but it still has its moments.
